Yes folks, I’m giving this whole blog thing another try. I’ve ventured into the Blogosphere a couple of times before, but never could seem to get the discipline of blogging on a regular basis. I often have a flurry of blog topics occur right before my very eyes in a single day, but never seem to find time to harness those thoughts into a blog.
I hope this latest incarnation will find it’s way into that place where I can drop off ideas, jot down thoughts, and have a handy place to find them later. I hope it’s worth the journey for anyone who’s brave enough to peek over my shoulder from time to time.
As the Head Gunslinger of Gunslinger Software & Consulting, Inc., I try to bring values from the Old West into the modern world. Solving problems with an arsenal of technological tools the way Gunslingers did in the Old West. You may ask yourself, but weren’t gunslingers the bad guys? Well, let’s see. The Lone Ranger was a Gunslinger. Marshall Dillon from Gunsmoke fame was a Gunslinger. Even Zorro was a Gunslinger of sorts (or more specifically a sword slinger!). I base my approach on the values of the West: friendliness, integrity, and leadership. Well, and BBQ. A Gunslinger’s got to eat!
